Our Easter Course took place from Tuesday 10th - Friday 13th April 2012 at The Purcell School, and was a huge success. 87 children worked (and played!) incredibly hard over the four days, and went home having made new friends as well as having progressed tremendously on their instruments. During the course they took part in small ensemble sessions, masterclasses, instrument-specific group teaching, a competition, two hours of sport every afternoon, and a fantastic concert at the end of the course. Our Summer Course 2012 is a five day residential or day brass music course for brass players aged 8-18, of Grade 1 standard to Grade 8 and beyond, held at Felsted School. It will involve our usual combination of top level tuition from leading brass musicians and teachers, with a two hour sports session each afternoon. The Brass Studio is an advanced, intensive course aimed at high level performance for advanced players (Grade 8+). It is being held in tandem with our Summer Course at Felsted School from 13th - 17th August, and is ideal for those thinking about attending music college or considering a career as a musician. It is an exceptional opportunity to work with world class players and teachers and benefit from their experience. The children in The Brass Studio will all have passed their Grade 8 exam.
